February 17 – In House Evaluations – Sweet Air Park (please check back with website for any changes)
Evaluations are for every registered player in following age groups:
7-8 age group: 5:00pm to 6:15pm
9-10 age group: 6:30pm to 7:45pm
11-12 age group: 8:00 pm to 9:00pm
February 26 – Last Chance In House Evaluations – Sweet Air Park (please check website for changes)
All Ages: 7pm to 8:30pm
March 19 through 23 – Players Notified of Coaches, team assignments, practices and games
March 31 – practices and games begin. Generally, practices/games will be one evening per week and on Saturday. Schedules have not been set yet. Parents will be notified of schedule by their coach in late March.
April 28 – BASEBALL FESTIVAL and TEAM PICTURES at Hydes
April 29 – CMRC at CAMDEN YARDS
All players in uniform with coaches parade around warning track prior to Oriole game. Players get to high-five Oriole players in the dugout! One of our players will receive an autographed ball from an Oriole in a pre-game on field ceremony. Tickets are $8 and are available for family and friends. If we have over 1000 tickets, we qualify for a drawing to have one of our players throw out the first pitch!
Early June – playoffs and all-star games for age groups 7-8 and up.
Season Ends when school ends.

Carroll Manor 8U Final Baseball tryout will be this Saturday 1/28/20102 at 10:30 am to 11:30 am at Grand Slam USA . I am sending this to all players who showed up for the first tyout and who have shown interest in travel. There is a mass email going to all registered players. Please attend if you have ineterest. Final cuts will be Sunday.

REMINDER - baseball travel tryouts are this Friday (5pm to 9pm at Grand Slam in Timonium) with last chance tryouts on this Sunday (6pm to 7:30pm at Sweet Air Park). All players must register with CMRC baseball before participating in tryout.

The 12U travel baseball team will not be holding tryouts at Grand Slam this Friday. We are having weekly workouts starting this Wednesday, January 28th. If players are interested in trying out, they can come to a workout. You must be registered and paid on line BEFORE ATTENDING. Interested players can contact Neil Cariello for more details at ahammerdog@comcast.net.

CMRC Baseball is glad to welcome all of the players and families to league. A special thanks to Jerry Coudon for the efforts of finding a good math for the two organizations. We are looking forward to a having a great season together.

CMRC 2012 Spring Baseball Registration starts January 1, 2012 and ends March 1, 2012. The registration fees are as follows: Tball and Coach Pitch is $75, 7/8 and 9/10 is $85, 11/12 and 13/15 is $95. There will be no late fee and no family maximum. Fees are per player. All registrations are on line, all payments are on line. Payment must be done at the time of registration or your registration will be canceled. If you have any questions or issues about registration please contact Lisa Hosier at lhosier @carrollmanor.org.

Just to make things clear for safety reasons, the following is Baltimore County Recreation and Parks Lightning Policy. To keep everyone safe, parents, players and spectators must comply with the a Recreation Department Staff member, umpire, age group commissioner or coach requests as directed.
The Lightning Policy
Upon the first sound of thunder or sighting of lightning, Department staff will direct all in attendance to immediately go to their cars or enter a building, if possible. No one will be allowed to return to the field until 30 minutes after the last sound of thunder and sighting of lightning. Staff will have complete authority on any decisions made at our facilities. In the absence of Department staff, volunteer coaches, and officials should follow the same procedure.
