SEEDS Nature Camp

Join us for a hands-on investigation into the natural world around us as we learn about habitats, create new things from recycled goods, and explore ways we can make greener choices for our environment!

All sessions are offered to children who are entering grades 1 through 6.

All sessions are identical, so take your pick! (Please only select one though.)

Session 1 – June 26-30, 2023 – from 9am to 12pm
Session 2 – July 10-14, 2023 – from 9am to 12pm
Session 3 – August 7-11, 2023 – from 9am to 12pm

Campers should bring a water bottle and wear tennis shoes/sneakers.

Registration Cost: $150.00 per participant per session

Concussion Protocol

State law requires that a youth athlete who is suspected of sustaining a concussion or other head injury in a practice or game shall be immediately removed from play. This injured athlete may not return until they have obtained written clearance from a licensed health care provider trained in the evaluation and management of concussions and head injuries. The term “youth sports program” is defined as a program organized for recreational athletic competition or instruction for participants who are under the age of 19 years. Volunteer Notice

Becoming a volunteer with the Baltimore County Department of Recreation and Parks is a three-step process: contact your local community office, apply and undergo a background check, and receive authorization. Learn more about the Volunteer Registration Program.

Volunteers must submit an application and be authorized every year. The process is free for volunteers.

This procedure is for ALL volunteers in ALL recreation councils. Please review the guidelines, as you will not be able to take any role within the program without going through this check!

You will only be contacted if you do not pass the background check. Volunteers who pass the check WILL NOT be contacted.
