Camp Gym-tastic 2024!

Attention 1st through 6th Graders! Camp Gym-tastic is being offered for kids entering the 1st grade to kids entering the 6th grade at Jacksonville Elementary School!

Run by Jennie Springer (Jacksonville Elementary Physical Education Teacher) and Carey Berlin (Edmondson Heights Elementary Physical Education Teacher)!

Session 1 – July 22– July 26
Session 2 – July 29 – August 2
Each day: 9:00AM – 12:00PM

What to bring: Your camper will need to bring a snack and a water bottle and will need to wear sneakers and clothes appropriate for climbing.

Cost: $160.00 per session (NO REFUNDS)

Concussion Protocol

State law requires that a youth athlete who is suspected of sustaining a concussion or other head injury in a practice or game shall be immediately removed from play. This injured athlete may not return until they have obtained written clearance from a licensed health care provider trained in the evaluation and management of concussions and head injuries. The term “youth sports program” is defined as a program organized for recreational athletic competition or instruction for participants who are under the age of 19 years. Volunteer Notice

Becoming a volunteer with the Baltimore County Department of Recreation and Parks is a three-step process: contact your local community office, apply and undergo a background check, and receive authorization. Learn more about the Volunteer Registration Program.

Volunteers must submit an application and be authorized every year. The process is free for volunteers.
