2025 Rec Basketball Rules
Welcome to CMRC Basketball!
The 2025/2026 CMRC Winter Basketball season registration is opening on September 17th for the upcoming season. Registration will close on October 31st.

Registration Fees: $105 per participant
K & 1st Grade Skills and Drills Clinic (birth dates 9/1/2018-8/31/2020)
Sessions will be held on Sunday mornings (9-12). Times will alternate weekly.
This Year we are adding an optional skills clinic for 2nd/3rd Grade ages in addition to our 2nd/3rd grade league. Participants will have the option of registering for the skills clinic or league play or both
options. Those choosing to participate in both skills and league need to register for both.
2nd & 3rd Grade Skills and Drills Clinic (birth dates 9/1/2016-8/31/2018)
Sessions will be held on Sunday mornings (12-1).
2nd & 3rd Grade (birth dates 9/1/2016-8/31/2018)
Girls: Practices will be held Monday or Tuesday evenings. Games will be Saturday mornings (9-12).
Boys: Practices will be held Tuesday or Wednesday evenings. Games will be Saturday afternoons (12-4).
4th & 5th Grade (birth dates 9/1/2014-8/31/2016)
Girls: Practices will be held Wednesday or Thursday evenings. Games will be Tuesday evenings.
Boys: Practices will be held Thursday evenings. Games will be Saturday mornings (9-1).
6th – 9th Grade (birth dates 9/1/2010-8/31/2014)
Girls: Practices will be held Monday evenings. Games will be Saturday afternoons (4-6).
6th/7th Boys: Practices will be held Wednesday evenings. Games will be Saturday afternoons (1-4).
8th/9th Boys (Tentative): Practices will be held Friday evenings. Games will be Tuesday evenings.
Additional Information
We are looking for volunteers to coach and be an age group commissioners. If you have never coached before and are interested,
please reach out. We would like to hold a Coach’s Clinic before the season begins if there is enough interest.

Thank you for your participation in the 2024-2025 season!
The youth recreation basketball program will be offered to boys and girls.
The following leagues will be available:

- 2nd & 3rd Grade (birth dates 9/1/2015-8/31/2017)
- Girls: Practices will be held Monday or Tuesday evenings. Games will be Saturday mornings (9-12).
- Boys: Practices will be held Tuesday or Wednesday evenings. Games will be Saturday afternoons (12-4).
- 4th & 5th Grade (birth dates 9/1/2013-8/31/2015)
- Girls: Practices will be held Wednesday or Thursday evenings. Games will be Tuesday evenings.
- Boys: Practices will be held Thursday evenings. Games will be Saturday mornings (9-1).
- 6th – 9th Grade (birth dates 9/1/2009-8/31/2013)
- Girls: Practices will be held Monday evenings. Games will be Saturday afternoons (4-6).
- 6th/7th Boys: Practices will be held Wednesday evenings. Games will be Saturday afternoons (1-4).
- 8th / 9th Boys (Tentative): Practices will be held Friday evenings. Games will be Tuesday evenings
Due to low registration and lack of facilities, CMRC will not be offering sessions for 10th-12th grade. There are other local rec councils that offer basketball leagues for this age group.
The cost for registration will be announced in the fall of 2024. All refunds are subject to a $25 administrative fee to cover CMRC costs. There are no refunds after the first practice or first session of Skills and Drills.
No uniforms will be ordered for Skills and Drills Clinic participants this year. If you have pinnies, please return them to the basketball program so they can be sanitized and redistributed.
The basketball program is transitioning to new leadership. We are currently recruiting for:

- Coaches
