CMRC 2008 Fall Soccer Program

We are once again very excited about offering your son and daughter the opportunity to play soccer at CMRC.  CMRC has been offering a quality program for many years to the community and we look forward to providing a high quality program in 2008.

Our program in 2007 will once again focus on soccer skill development at all levels. The first area we will address is our entry level program. This program, which we will call “Hot Shots,” will offer soccer skill training for players that are 5-6 years old. The “Hot Shots” program will again offer a new look with dedicated playing fields for their age group with real soccer goals. The number one goal is to develop the love for the game and learn soccer skills while having fun!

The next level of play our program will offer is our “Challenge”. This program is offered to all players that are 7 years and older that want to play and learn soccer. This program will have a developmental focus that will provide a safe, educational, enjoyable soccer experience. The CMRC Training Team will offer weekly training camps that all of the players will benefit from.  This year, the Challenge program will be expanded to admit players up to 17 years old.  We plan to offer U15 and U18 Co-ed leagues, registration numbers permitting.

We once again offer a Travel Program which we call “Express”. This is a program that is offered to any player that would desire to play at a higher level and play more. The selection process is done through team tryouts in May and June. The “Express” level offers many age groups for both boys and girls.

We are very pleased to offer a “Premier” program for CMRC Soccer.  This level of play will provide advanced players development in the most competitive environment, with high level coaching. The goal of this program is to prepare players for play beyond youth soccer.

If you are interested in helping, we are looking for coaches for both our Hot Shots and Challenge programs.

All registration for the 2008 program in on-line.   Registration will run from May 1, 2008 until July 18, 2008. A $20 late registration fee will be added to each player's registration taken after July 1, 2008. Late registrations will be taken up to July 18, 2008..

We have scheduled two camp dates for ages 5-14 for this summer.  The first camp will occur the week of July 28th, and the second camp will run on the week of August 11.  In addition, a High School Prep level camp for ages 13-17 will be offered the week of August 11th.  Details for both camps are available on the CMRC Soccer web site:  click "Soccer Camps".

Another great program we will participate in is the “Pass Back” program sponsored by the U.S. Soccer Foundation. This program will launch on our Opening Day of Soccer.  The “Pass Back” program will collect old soccer gear and forward to needy areas and countries around the world.

We look forward to offering your children one of the best soccer programs in Maryland.
