  • Want to play some Fall Tennis? Ladies tennis is looking for some additional players and has openings on Monday mornings, 9 - 11, Sept. 13th - Nov. 8th, beginner to lower intermediate level. Contact Irene Dietrich, 410-592-8751 as soon as possible.
  • We are very excited about the opening of our new home and look forward to serving the CMRC community and enjoying everything the new building offers. Also, PLEASE NOTE: the recreation office has officially moved to the new building. Please be aware that internet services are not hooked up yet so they do not have access to email. If you have any questions please call 410-887-1840 or you can fax at 410-628-4826 to the attention of Gussie Price or Wally Reidt. The walking trail is open to the public but the fields are not open yet. Wonder what is going on with our New Sweet Air Park? See pictures here!!
  • Fall Soccer: We need age group commisioners. Due to the influx of late registrations, teams and schedules will not be available until the last week in august. Soccer will tenatively start the weekend after Labor Day. Please contact Paul Dipino at tripledips@verizon.net.
  • Fall Soccer Registration will close on Wednesday, August 18th on Capital Sports. All registration questions or problems need to be directed to Capital Sports, Paul Dipinio at tripledips@verizon.net or John Sdanowich at jsdanow@msn.com. Details will be coming on the soccer page. Opening day will be September 11th. Anyone interested in taking over as soccer commissioner for 2011 please call Paul Dipino at 410 350-1600.
  • CMRC Fall Dance registration is now open! Professional instruction in a fun environment. See the Dance Fall Registration page for more details.
  • Fall Field Hockey Mail in registration is closed. Grades 1 -9.! Registration deadline was June 30th. A $10 late fee will be added to registrations after June 30th. Contact Sydney James at syddesigns@verizon.net for any age group availability

  • Cancellation information will be posted on this site when it becomes available.

  • Cancellation policy: If Baltimore County public schools are closed, OR after school programs are canceled due to inclement weather, OR the Baltimore County Snow Emergency Plan is in effect, all scheduled activities are canceled.

In 1999 Baltimore County Bureau of Parks and Recreation celebrated its 50th anniversary. It was also Carroll Manor Recreation Council's 50th anniversary! In April of 1949, CMRC was one of the original 13 recreation councils in Baltimore County. The original recreation councils included Banneker, Catonsvillle, Cockeysville, Dundalk, Fullerton, Loch Raven, Parkville, Pikesville, Liberty Road, Ridgeleigh, Stoneleigh and Turner Station. CMRC is proud to bring Long Green Valley a variety of youth and adult recreational programs.

Council meetings are held the second Thursday of every month at 7:30PM.

Please send registration fees to the P.O. Box indicated on your registration confirmation. Please do not combine two programs on one check. Each program needs a separate check for payment. If you have questions, please contact Lisa Hosier at lhosier@carrollmanor.org.
