DANCE COMPANY
Advance Tap & Jazz

The Carroll Manor Dance Company consists of 3 divisions. Each division must follow
strict policies in regard to attendance, behavior and attire.

Junior Company
60mins
This class is open to all students in 6th grade and up
This is our first level of company.

Junior/ Senior Company
60mins
Teachers approval needed
This is a more intermediate tap and jazz class.

Senior Company
90mins
Teachers approval needed
This is our highest level of tap and jazz we offer.

We ask that all company members arrive to class on time and ready to dance when class begins. We highly recommend that dancers come 10-15minutes early to stretch prior to class.
If you are going to be absent please e-mail and/or call your teacher.
Please keep in mind that attendance is required for all company dancers.

Company Dress Code:
Jazz: Leotard, tights or jazz pants/ shorts, and black split sole jazz shoes
Tap: Leotard, tights or jazz pants/ shorts, and black tap shoes
Junior and Junior/Senior Company - black oxford tap shoes
Senior Company - black tap shoes with 1-2inch heels
All hair should be pulled up in a neat bun or ponytail.
Please keep in mind that attire is required.

All Carroll Manor Dance Company members should act in a responsible, motivated and hard-working manner.

Junior and Senior Company
The companies listed above will be performing at Brighview. Please arrive at Jacksonville Elementary School at 1:45 for the carpool. We will leave at approximately 2pm. We will return back to Jacksonville Elementary around 3:30pm

Saturday, December 20th
Junior/ Senior and Senior Company
The companies listed above will be performing at Glen Meadows. Please arrive at Jacksonville Elementary School at 9:45am for the carpool. We will leave at approximately 10am. We will return back to Jacksonville Elementary for our final performance at 2pm.

Saturday, December 20th
Everyone in a dance company!
We will be at Strapasta from 12pm-1:30pm for a FUN pizza party. After which we will go to the dance studio and set-up for our final performance. This is an opportunity for your friends and family to come see your holiday showcase. The show will begin at 2pm.

Dancers show your choreography skills!
Dancers are allowed to choreograph their own tap routine, however you will need to audition and get the OK to perform during the holiday showcase.
Here are the rules-
-You need at least 3-4 dancers (from your class) in your TAP routine
-No more then 5 girls in each routine
-Choreography should not exceed 2 minutes
-Please see me as far as your (holiday) song - we don't want to repeat music
-Auditions will take place AFTER class on November 11th & 14th (depending on your class)!

Car Pooling-
If you would like to carpool please sign-up during class! We will also need several drivers with VANS!
If your child is carpooling please provide a written letter, giving permission to the driver. Your child will not be allowed to carpool without this letter!
