  • NEW - Registration fee payment policy per the CMRC Board - Registration fees must be paid at the time of registration on line. If you opt out of payment at the time of registration your registration will be canceled by the system automatically and will not show up on our registration list. You must be registered and paid to be allowed to participate in any practice or game - going forward this will be strictly enforced and check payment by mail will be phased out after this intial change over period.   • Congratulations to our CMRC Boys - See some pictures from the final day of the 4th Annual CMRC Holiday tournament held on 12/27 & 12/28 at Sweet Air Park Recreation Center. The Dehaven team narrowly lost a very close game in the championship to Emmorton 22-19, while CMRC Cadigan defeated Parkville in the Consolation game. Cick here for pics! Everyone did a great job! We also had some help with the singing our our National Athem by some of our CMRC girls!
  • CMRC 2012 Spring Baseball - New Notice The 12U travel baseball team will not be holding tryouts at Grand Slam this Friday, please check baseball page for details - Registration opens January 1, 2012. See baseball page for details on travel, registration and program contacts and a very important preseason schedule that will give you information travel tryouts, inhouse commissioner meetings, and inhouse evalutations, etc. All registrations are on line and fees must be paid at the time of registration on line or the registration will be canceled.   • CMRC is hosting Under Armour Elite Maryland Premier Volleyball - 8 Week Clinic - February 5th - March 25th. Sundays Only: Girls & Boys Ages 8-14 at Sweet Air Park. For more information call Phyllis May 410 409-5211. Please complete the registration form and either mail or bring it with you the first night of the clinic.
  • Roller Skating at Carroll Manor Elementary- New Notice!! - Rollerskating sessions are canceled for January 27! Also, Our rollerskating chair person is stepping down, so if you want to see this program continue please contact Mary Sevison at marysevison@petroexp.com for more infomation. Starting Friday, October 14th, For preschool aged children to 5th graders ONLY! Please see registration form for detail, registration, policies, program contact information and to volunteer.
  • CMRC Night with the Baltimore Blast - The Blast is having a Carroll Manor soccer night on January 20, 2012. Pre-game talk by professional player David Bascome. All players tickets are free with 1 paid ticket. If you have any questions you can contact Jerry Tana at gtana3@aol.com
  • CMRC 2012 Girls Spring Lax - Registration opens December 15th and ends January 27, 2012. Waitlist starts on January 28th. Fee is $50 for Clinic and $125 for all other ages, no family maximum. All registration is on line, no checks will be accepted, and will follow the new registration policy. All payments are done on line at the time of registration. If you opt out of payment the registration will automatically be canceled. You will NOT be rostered to a team until registration and payment is completed and you are on the official list.   • CMRC 2011/2012 Basketball registration is now closed for all ages except Clinic. Clinic is starting Sunday, Jan 8th. See the basketball page for details. Clinic registrations ends on January 31st and includes a late fee, the fee is now $90. In all other age groups, except for clinic, you should have been notified by a coach with team information, if you have any questions or have not heard anything please contact your age group commissioner listed on the baskeball page.   • 2011 Winter Indoor Soccer Opportunity - Jerry Tana is organizing Indoor Soccer for ages 5-14. The second session of hot shots indoor starts on Feb 7th . See flyer for details. If you have additional questions or need details and application, please contact Jerry Tana at gtana3@aol.com
  • CMRC Karate - The next fall 8 week session starts Saturday, January 7, 2012. Please note, class sizes are limited and registration is on a first come basis. Registration begins at 6:15 pm on the first night of class. See flyer or martial arts page for details.
  • CMRC Ladies Tennis - The CMRC ladies tennis team is looking for 4 advanced beginner/intermediate players. Playing time would be on Mondays at Jacksonville Elementary. Email alanirene@aol.com for more information and a registration form. Cost is $15.00 for 7 weeks play starting after Labor Day.
  • Boys Spring Lacrosse Registration starting August 1st - New Notice - we will not be fielding a Junior Team for the 2012 season due to lack of players. Lightning and Midget are the only age groups running registration from Aug 1, 2011 - Aug 31, 2011, all other age groups registration will be from Aug 1, 2011- Feb 1, 2012. Evaluations for Lightning and Midget will take place in September 2011 and will be announced, check back for details. All other age groups will have evals in Feb/Mar 2012.Please note registration fees must be paid at the time of registration or your player will not be rostered.   • Loyola University Athletics Department - National Girls and Women in Sports Day held at Loyola on Sunday, February 26th, 2012. See flyer for more information.   • CMRC Band and String Program - Band and String lessons offered by Wade Coley, Baltimore County Public Schools, for 2nd to 5th graders. The next session starts in January.   • Cancellation policy: If Baltimore County public schools are closed, OR after school programs are canceled due to inclement weather, OR the Baltimore County Snow Emergency Plan is in effect, all scheduled activities are canceled.

In 1999 Baltimore County Bureau of Parks and Recreation celebrated its 50th anniversary. It was also Carroll Manor Recreation Council's 50th anniversary! In April of 1949, CMRC was one of the original 13 recreation councils in Baltimore County. The original recreation councils included Banneker, Catonsvillle, Cockeysville, Dundalk, Fullerton, Loch Raven, Parkville, Pikesville, Liberty Road, Ridgeleigh, Stoneleigh and Turner Station. CMRC is proud to bring Long Green Valley a variety of youth and adult recreational programs.

Council meetings are held the second Thursday of every month at 8:15 PM.

Our registration fee payment policy has changed. With any program registering on line you must pay at the time of registration on line by credit card or E-check through paypal or your registration will be canceled, you WILL NOT be registered. You must be registered and paid to be listed on the roster of players and to be allowed to participate in practices or games - going forward this will be strictly enforced. We will not be accepting checks in the mail after this initial phase in period.
